It's almost magazine deadline day and the Utah office of 4WD&SU magazine (my house) is getting hit by the biggest blizzard of the year right now. It's dropping 4" an hour! The photo was taken looking out my front door. My son was on the way to college a while ago and called to say that his Cherokee wasn't working.
It turned out the water pump had failed and the serpentine belt whipped around, knocking a hole in the power steering reservoir. Since the beadlock accident I'm having trouble using my hands (except to type with two fingers), so I called AAA. The tow truck got stuck in a snowbank, so I went out into the blizzard and extricated the tow truck with the Power Wagon. That was exciting with no hands. I had to drive with my forearms on the wheel and let the tow truck driver hook up the tow strap.
What a day.
