JK Rubicon 44 Price Hike

The Jeep JK Rubicon 44 front and rearends were the best deal available in aftermarket axles. Now, Mopar has increased their prices to $2,999.00 front and $1,849.00 rear, without brakes!

Even with the front JK 44's weaknesses (axle tubes, forgings, ball joints), they were still a good deal at under $1,500.00 as everything but the ball joints could be beefed up easily and cheaply. Now, at their new $2,999.00 price point, Currie Enterprises, Dynatrac, and Solid Axle's offerings look much more attractive and are stronger, too.

Why Mopar raised the prices and removed the brakes is a mystery. Maybe they didn't want to sell these in the aftermarket anymore. If that's the case, we can congratulate them. They won't be selling these to anyone at these prices.
