Giant Wolves in Wyoming

These two giants were shot killing cattle in Wyoming. A few days after the Wyoming wolf season opened, these two monsters, with two others, were caught killing cattle (that's killing, not eating) in a calving pen near Pinedale.

Wyoming has a safe zone for wolves. These evidently had been run out of the safe zone by other wolves. How big were the ones that ran these out? The Colorado Division of Wildlife has requested anyone catching a wolf or wolverine in a leg hold trap to "please try to release it alive." That would be tough to do with these monsters. It's no wonder that elk and moose calves have only a 20% chance of making it to 6 months old in the Yellowstone area.

We might want to rethink the caliber of our vehicular personal defense weapons...
