I promised a few more photos of Steve Schlueter's CJ-7.
Under the hood, there are a couple of eye-catching items, such as the Optima Red-Top battery and the Kilby air system, but what doesn't immediately jump out is the AMC V-8 that's been converted to fuel injection using a Mopar throttle body and attendant electronics.
The interior is super-clean, the bright blue paint allaying any accusations that this Jeep is overly plain-Jane.
Steve retained the stock spring-under suspension configuration. The front axle has been gusseted between the pumpkin and the driver's side spring perch. In place of locking hubs, the front axle uses drive flanges for reliable operation. The rear axle shafts are from Dutchman Motorsports.
Again, here's hoping my path will cross with Steve's again. There's a lot more to this Jeep and trailer that needs telling.
