Avenger Superchargers breathes life into the Jeep 2.4

Jeep 4-cylinder mills have received little or no respect from the mainstream. This, in spite of the fact that from the days of the L-head, most Jeep fours have been excellent engines, returning years of great service. To put my money where my mouth is, I've just purchased a 4-cylinder TJ with the last Wrangler four, the 2.4, DOHC 16V Power Tech mill that you'll be seeing here and in the magazine. Will even this latest incarnation of the Jeep four have enough beans to do what's asked of it?

It probably will. But, if it's proven that more horsepower and torque are needed, Avenger Superchargers has the answer. They offer a proven and reliable intercooled supercharger that really wakes up Jeeps. In their words:

"The Avenger Supercharger for the 2.4L Jeep engine adds 45hp and 40% more torque. With the Avenger Supercharger, the 2.4L four cylinder is capable of producing over 190hp. Due to the efficiency of the intercooler, we are able to achieve this level of performance at only 4.5-5 psi of boost. There is no cause to worry about premature engine wear or failure."
