It's time to join the UFWDA. That's the United Four Wheel Drive Association if you didn't know. This is one of the major groups that help to ensure our 4x4 activities continue. They fight trail closures tooth and nail and represent any one who owns a 4x4. Now you have an opportunity to join the UFWDA and help create an even greater voice.
The UFWDA “One Million” voices membership drive is in full swing. UFWDA is offering a discounted membership to all enthusiasts who sign up before June 31, 2009.
If you own a 4x4 this should be a no-brainer. The UFWDA is here for us; we should return the favor.
An individual membership is just $28 and it includes a full year subscription to the United Four Wheel Drive Association’s Voice publication, a decal, discounts to UFWDA businesses, and contributes to preservation of access efforts.
A Life membership is a one-time payment of five hundred dollars ($500). This exclusive member class includes - Life Membership badge; UFWDA decal; UFWDA jacket inscribed with your name and "Life Member"; and a subscription to United's Voice for twenty years.
There is also an Ambassador Membership, which is a one-time payment of one thousand dollars ($1,000). This prestigious member class includes - Ambassador Membership badge and a special Ambassador Membership Certificate; UFWDA decal; UFWDA jacket inscribed with your name and "Ambassador Member"; and a subscription to United's Voice for twenty years. This special member class also entitles you to receive a copy of the UFWDA Annual Report, the minutes of all United meetings and special recognition annually during the UFWDA Convention.
The United Four Wheel Drive Associations are a group of state, regional, provincial and national 4WD associations in the United States and around the world. They also encompass various 4x4 clubs and businesses. Members span the globe from the U.S. and Canada, New Zealand, Australia, England, Japan, South Africa, and Iceland.
