Ford has finally announced pricing for their new F150 Raptor SVT and the pricing's reasonable! The truck will start at $38,995.00 with the 5.4 V8 and $41,995.00 equipped with the new 6.1 liter Boss V8. The Raptor SVT offers bypass shocks, a wider track, rear locking differential, and many more cool features for the backcountry explorer.
That backcountry exploring can be done at high speed, too. The Raptor SVT was driven easily to 100 mph by journalists, many of whom had no business behind the handlebars of a scooter, let alone a powerful truck.
For us, the Raptor will perform very well on backcountry exploring trips where its large size will allow it to fit. Desert roads, graded mountain roads, and wider trails will be handled with ease by the Raptor. Trucks are being rediscovered by the exploring crowd as they can hold so much equipment and are more comfortable on the road and in the outback than many smaller vehicles.
