The American Motorcyclist Association, District 37, Dual Sport is pleased to announce the 2009 LA-Barstow to Vegas Dual Sport Ride. This year’s event will be held on November 27. This is your chance to be a part of the nation’s premier dual sport ride. In its 26th year, this two-day, 450 mile adventure provides its attendees with some of the most beautiful vistas of the desert southwest. Suited to all types of riders, from novice to expert, it offers routes with dirt roads and challenging single track trails. Because this ride is part of both the AMA/KTM National Dual Sport Trail Ride Series and the AMA/BMW Adventure Bike Ride Series, it can accommodate the traditional dual sport rider and also the adventure bike rider.

With an average annual attendance of 300-400 riders, this event has consistently been one of the most popular rides of the year. Since this event happens at the beginning of the holiday season, every rider is asked to bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The toys will go to help needy kids in the Barstow area. This event is a win-win for everyone involved as the needy kids get toys and you get to go on an exciting ride, meet new friends, and make great memories.

If you are interested in attending this event go to www.labarstowvegas.com and click on “Entry Form” to download an entry form and other useful information. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. If your company would like information on becoming a sponsor for this event please contact Kieth Huff at 562-244-0244 or Paul Flanders at 626-792-7384.
