A new body!

Aqualu aluminum tubs are strong and rust-free

I'm going to get a new body! A new Jeep body, that is. Rockworx in Montrose, Colorado, is going to work with us to restore an old Jeep using an excellent Aqualu aluminum tub.

The Aqualu tubs are constructed of 5052 marine grade aluminium alloy 5/32" or .156" thick. They are extremely durable and stand up to abuse well.

This particular body is a narrowed CJ7 tub with angled rocker panels for better trail clearance. It's the same tub John Currie and Walker Evans started with when building their Jeeps.

Aqualu quality is unsurpassed. Craig and the Rockworx crew have built many Jeeps like this and they work great. I'll keep you posted on powertrain choices and project progress.
