XJ Battery Tray Weatherproofing

Durabak and Rattle-Can Grey Do the Trick

It was time to get this sucker installed, but first it needed some weatherproofing.

We had both smooth and textured Durabak on hand, but the textured type got the nod this time. The rusted fenderwell received a coat of Durabak as well. Hopefully, the rust won't progress any further.

Durabak is easy to apply and super-tough. If Durabak is stored properly, you can use the extra product for other projects down the line.

The battery hold-down was rattle-canned grey. Sweet and simple.
