2008 JK Wrangler Rubicon

I like 2-door JK Wranglers. So much so, I'm going to put together one for backcountry exploring.

I found this yellow Rubicon sitting on a dealer's lot. It has 6800 miles on it and is in perfect shape.

I'm going to use KORE coils and shocks, JKS control arms, Rock Slide Engineering rocker guards, Shrockworks front stubby bumper, Warn PowerPlant winch, 37" Goodyear Wrangler MTR with Kevlar tires mounted on 17" Black Rock Viper wheels, and Kilby skidplates. Mt. Logan Off-Road is beefing up the front Dana 44 with their Rubicon axle beef-up kit and also using the new RCV Performance CV axle shafts. Mt. Logan is kindly donating their shop and expertise for the work.

This JK should be finished quickly. I'll show you how it turned out here, then put a detailed buildup feature in the magazine.
