JKs are heavy. REALLY heavy. Some modified JKs not only exceed half-ton pickup weight, they're as heavy as one-ton pickups! The designers were able to combine lightweight strength, function, and style by using 3/16” aluminum and working with the body lines of the JK. The flares are designed to maximize the wheel well opening and allows 35" tires with no lift and 37s with only 2.5” of lift.
