There are several cabins in the Champion Mine Camp, along with a couple of outhouses and a shower that looks like it needs some repair work.
You're welcome to stay in any unoccupied cabin.
Cabins are equipped with a pair of beds, a wood stove, and a table.
Firewood is pretty scarce around the camp, and it's not OK to cut live vegetation/trees down for firewood. The best route is to bring your own.
Two miles further, and 1,500 feet higher is the high camp, which is right about where the colorful rock outcroppings jut toward the skyline. We didn't have time to make the trip. Next time!
