Threading Them Home

Once the pipe thread is established, it's time to thread the fitting into place.

Mini Monsters come with pipe thread sealant already on the threads, but since I'm paranoid, I wrapped the threads with some Teflon tape anyway.


I started the fitting in by hand and finished it off with a deep socket.

You don't need to go gorilla-tight on these. They should be snug, but overkill isn't needed.

Note that Monster Valves and Mini Monsters are best installed opposite the stock valve hole. This provides the most ideal tire balance possible.
