Metal Cloak TJ Bumper

While there are only so many ways to skin a cat, Metal Cloak is a company that refuses to copy others when designing parts for Jeeps.

Metal Cloak's TJ bumpers are modular and can be designed according to the needs of the users. For instance, I chose a 3/16" aluminum black powder coated frame-built base with 52" high crawler caps (shown here). Once installed, the high crawler caps were too large for my application, so I exchanged them for smaller 43" crawler caps (lead photo).

The bumper is lightweight, strong, and innovative. The aluminum fairlead for synthetic rope is elegant, simple, and great looking.

Speaking of synthetic rope, the 3/8" Viking winch line I wrapped on the Warn 9.5cti winch is very nice. It incorporates a Viking aluminum safety thimble - an original Viking design that's been duplicated by others but never as well as Viking builds theirs.
