I spent part of an afternoon mounting a set of 37x12.50R17LT Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZ tires on Raceline RT233-AL Monster Beadlock wheels with aluminum rings for the LJ project.
The 37" Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZs are beefy tires with a fairly thick bead bundle. Mounting them on the RT233-AL beadlock wheel is no problem. Both the wheel and the ring have fairly deep steps machined in them that allow them to work with thick tire beads. The Racelines have steel thread inserts with the shoulders of the inserts behind the cast ring, so they won't be pulling out of Raceline Monster Beadlocks.

The Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZ is one of the best all-around mud terrain radials available today. With a nylon overwrap, they're strong and defy punctures and cuts. The tread design and compound is astounding off road. I watched a vehicle quipped with a popular mud terrain radial try to climb a loose sand ledge. They bogged down about halfway up. Another, almost identical Jeep with another popular tire brand tried the climb and buried itself to the axles in the same place the other Jeep failed. A third Jeep with Mickey Thompson MTZs tried the same climb (in the same ruts), and easily motored to the top of the sand ledge! Impressive. The MTZs are round and true, making them easy to balance.
What a combination. The Raceline Monster Beadlock wheels and Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZ tires are going to make the LJ project Jeep even better than originally planned.
