More Holiday Fun

While exploring the Great Basin Desert, we came across this pioneer ranch.


It was in the 20s at midday. There wasn't much snow, but the wind was blowing hard and the wind chill must have been near zero. It was cold.

As we explore and "discover" these places, it's impossible not to think about the hearty pioneers who settled this area and eked out a living away from any semblance of civilization.
